To date, our efforts have concentrated mostly
in the Baltimore-Washington Region.
That's because we like to be close to our
projects and visit often. Synthesis projects
have involved new construction or adaptive
reuse
of existing
structures.
Our backgrounds are varied and strong. We are
experienced in planning, green architectural and engineering design, construction, development and organizational management in both the public and private sectors for institutional,
commercial, office, warehouse, industrial and specialty residential development.
We have many years of experience with sustainable design and products, green buildings, and alternative energy project design and construction. Synthesis has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) since 2004 and is a sponsor of the Maryland Chapter of the USGBC. We have managed projects being certified under the LEED program including the Cheasapeake Bay Foundation's Phllip Merrill Environmental Center, the first building in the U.S. to receive a Platinum Certification.
Our management services are comprehensive. They
can involve a single building or encompass master
planning of a campus or entire business park.
