
To date, our efforts have concentrated mostly
in the Baltimore and Central Maryland Region.
That's because we like to be close to our
projects and visit often. Synthesis projects
have involved new construction or adaptive
reuse
of existing
structures.
Our backgrounds are varied and strong. We are
experienced in architectural and engineering
design; organizational management in both the
public and private sectors; planning; and institutional,
commercial office, warehouse, and industrial
development.
We have many years of experience with green buildings, sustainable design and products and design and construction of alternative energy projects. Synthesis has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) since 2004 and is a sponsor of the Baltimore Regional Chapter of the USGBC. We have managed projects being certified under the USGBC LEED program, including the first building in the U.S. to receive a Platinum Rating.
