Tom joined Synthesis in mid 2003 as a Principal and Project Manager. Tom has been successful in managing complex planning environments with an ability to communicate with personnel of diverse backgrounds and interests to move a project forward. He brings a strong engineering and planning background to the projects he is involved with. He has a M.S.E. in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.E.S. in Electrical Engineering from Hopkins, as well. Prior to becoming part of Synthesis, Tom was a consulting engineer for 30 years, with experience at division and office management levels. He has held several positions at Edwards and Kelcey, Inc. and Mueller Associates. He has also been an independent consultant.
